Emily Graves is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and editor. Her first short documentary ‘The Goats of Monesiglio’ (2022) was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Short Documentary and screened internationally at numerous festivals including DOC NYC, SIFF, Sebastopol and RIFFA, where it won best “Canadian Documentary - Short Form.” She is currently in development of her first feature documentary ‘Becoming A Landscape’ (working title), being produced by Aeyliya Husain of November Films. Emily was selected to participate in Breakthrough Development Lab by the DOC Institute in 2022.
Emily studied at Central Saint Martins in London, UK, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is also an alumnus of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection internship program in Venice, Italy.
